Ave Maria Council holds its meetings in St. Beatrice School located one block east of 25th Avenue on Irving Park Road in Schiller Park, Illinois. The Grand Knight for Fraternal Year 2008-2009 is Frank Kurash. You can contact Ave Maria Council by email at fkurash@kofcavemaria4456.org.
Business meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of each month, while our social meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each. An officers' meeting is held on the last Wednesday of each month. All meetings start at 8:00 PM.
Ave Maria Council serves both St Beatrice and St. Gertrude (Franklin Park) parishes, providing funds for various projects, members being active participants in their respective parishes.

This Fraternal Year will mark the end of an era for Ave Maria Council. Financial Secretary Allen Hosticka will be stepping down. Al is a charter member of Ave Maria Council and has held many offices, including two terms as Grand Knight. For the past 30 years, Al has been the pulse of Ave Maria as the Financial Secretary. Al, thank you (and Josephine) for all you have done for Ave Maria Council.
On May 1, 2009, Sir Knights Allen Hosticka and William Cyplick as well as Paul Bucella (3rd) will be celebrating their 50th anniversary as members of the Knights of Columbus. Ave Maria Council wishes to thank all of you for your dedication and service. Congratulations!
